In May, the Pre-primary and Kindergarten classes invite their Mums, Grandmothers, Aunties and other important women into class for a pampering session.
The children have a go at pampering their visitors. Everyone looks delightful by the end of the pamper session. This is followed by a lovely morning tea where our guests had a chance to 'mingle' and also play with their children.
A BIG thank you to those families that cook a HUGE selection of cakes and biscuits for the day. Also, thank you so much to all of the Mum's, Grandmas and Aunties for participating. The children had a lovely time and were still talking about it the following week.
We recognise the importance of building collaborative partnerships with families and work towards this through events such as Mother’s Day. Events such as Mother’s Day help build respectful relationships with families to develop, maintain and offer support in their parenting role.
The expertise, culture, values and beliefs of families are respected and families share in decision-making about their child’s learning and wellbeing.
